Healthy chocolate sausage for a snack: a recipe without milk, cookies and sugar

Chocolate sausage is a popular dessert that comes from childhood. In the classic recipe, the delicacy is made mainly from cookies, supplemented with condensed milk or cocoa. However, you can make a healthy alternative.

A recipe for chocolate sausage with dried fruit and nuts was published on YouTube by one of the cooking blogs (My Recipe 4YOU).

Chocolate sausage with dates and nuts

Ingredients:

  • dates - 150 g
  • pumpkin seeds - 50 g
  • nuts - 100 g
  • flax seeds - 2 tbsp
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • sesame seeds - 2 tbsp

Method of preparation:

1. First, pit the dates and grind them in a blender until smooth.

2. Chop the nuts with a knife. Add to the date puree.

3. Add pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, cinnamon to the total mass. Mix everything until smooth.

Chocolate sausage for children

4. Cover the work surface with cling film, sprinkle evenly with sesame seeds. With wet hands, form a sausage and place it in the middle of the film. Roll in sesame seeds and wrap in plastic wrap. Put in the freezer for 4-5 hours. Enjoy!
