Potatoes are one of the most budget-friendly, yet healthy and tasty vegetables that can be used to make a variety of dishes, from samples to casseroles, pancakes, pies, dumplings, and salads. It can also be baked with meat, mushrooms, and vegetables, fried and mashed.

Ukrainian TV presenter Hryhorii Herman shared a recipe for Greek-style baked potatoes with lemon on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • potatoes – 1 kg
  • chicken broth – 150 ml
  • sunflower oil – 150 ml
  • lemon juice – 200 ml
  • granulated garlic
  • thyme
  • flavored salt

Method of preparation:

1. Wash the potatoes, and cut them in half.

2. Mix the chicken broth, oil, spices, and lemon juice, mix well, and put the potatoes in, leave to marinate for 1 hour, but preferably overnight.

3. Place on a baking sheet and bake until tender.

Serve the potatoes with sauces and fresh vegetables as desired!
