Grated pie is a favorite dessert from childhood, which was in almost every household. This dessert is unique and versatile, as it is suitable for consumption with any filling, sometimes even salty.
Every housewife has her own recipe for this pie. Recently, a food blogger with the nickname goptarenkonatali posted her own recipe on Instagram, which she inherited from her grandmother. It's really worth paying attention to.
Ingredients
- Flour - 400 gr
- Sugar - 100 gr
- Butter 82% - 200 gr
- Eggs - 1 pc
- Jam 350-400 grams
- Soda slaked with vinegar - ½ tsp.
Method of preparation
1.Beat the butter at room temperature with a mixer together with sugar, using low speed.
1. Add the egg and slaked soda and mix again.
2. Add the sifted flour in parts and knead the dough. This can also be done with a mixer, just change the attachments.
3. Divide the dough into two equal parts and wrap each of them in cling film.
4. Put one part in the freezer for 40 minutes and the other in the refrigerator.
5. Put the refrigerated dough into a mold greased with butter, forming a rim.
6. Put the jam on the dough.
7. Grate the second part of the dough into the jam on a coarse grater.
8. Bake the cake for 35-40 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
