Grated pie is a popular home-made pastry that can be prepared not only with jam, jam, or preserves, but also with cottage cheese. The dessert is made from the simplest shortcrust pastry, which, when combined with the filling, simply melts in your mouth.
Food blogger Halyna Duma (reeixit) shared a recipe for grated pie with cottage cheese and berries on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- butter - 120 g
- flour - 350 g
- eggs - 1 pc
- baking powder - 1 tsp.
- salt - 0.5 tsp
- sugar - 100 g
The filling:
- cottage cheese - 350 g
- semolina - 2 tbsp
- sugar - 100 g
- eggs - 2 pcs
- vanilla sugar - 1 p
- berries
Method of preparation:
1. To prepare the dough, grind the butter and flour to a state of crumbs.
2. Add the egg, baking powder, salt and sugar (if the egg is too small, you can add 2-3 tbsp of water). Knead the dough. Wrap one half of the dough in plastic wrap and put it in the freezer, and put the other half into the mold, forming the sides.
3. To prepare the filling, mix cottage cheese, eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar. Beat with a blender until smooth.
4. Put the curd mass into the mold, put the berries on top. Grate the dough that was in the freezer on top.
5. Bake at 170 degrees for 45 minutes.
