Grated berry pie: what ingredient will make the dough crispy and dietary
Grated pie is a simple and quick homemade pastry. Traditionally, it is made with your favorite jam or jam, less often with fresh or frozen berries and fruits, and cottage cheese.
Food blogger Inna Levenets (inna_levenets) shared a recipe for grated berry pie on her Instagram page. To make the dough crispy and more dietary, it is better to add oatmeal to it.
Ingredients:
- oatmeal - 1-1\2 cups
- wheat flour - 2 cups
- salt
- vegan butter \ margarine - 1 cup
- agave syrup - 1\2 cups
Filling:
- various berries - 2 cups
- cane sugar - 1\2 cups
- grated orange zest - 1 tsp.
- chia - 3 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. First, prepare the filling. Mix berries, a few spoons of water and sugar in a saucepan. Cook for 15 minutes.
2. Then add the zest and chia, cook for another 5 minutes. Then remove from heat and leave to cool to room temperature.
3. To prepare the dough, mix all the necessary ingredients to a state of crumbs. Tamp a third of the mass to the bottom of the baking dish.
4. Then put the filling on top and sprinkle with the rest of the crumbs.
5. Bake in a preheated oven to 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes. When ready, let the cake cool. Enjoy!
