Georgian khachapuri without an oven in minutes: fried in a pan

Real Georgian khachapuri doesn't need to be baked in an oven. To save a lot of time, you can fry the dough in a frying pan. The cheese filling inside will be very soft, and the top will have an attractive golden crust.

The idea of cooking lazy khachapuri in a pan was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Albina with the nickname albik.food. Suluguni cheese is the best choice for this dish, as it will melt perfectly.

Ingredients:

  • warm milk - 220 g
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • sugar - 1/2 tsp.
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp.
  • suluguni - 180 g
  • sifted flour - 120 g

Method of preparation:

1. Add eggs to the milk.

2. Add the baking powder.

3. Add grated cheese.

4. Stir with a whisk.

5. Add the sifted flour.

6. Spread the mixture over the pan.

7. Fry on one side of the pan under the lid for 7-10 minutes.

8. Turn over and fry for the same amount of time on the other side.
