This is the principle used by a food blogger with the nickname tastystories.feed. On her Instagram, she posted a recipe for a sweet yeast dough "valentine" that you can surprise your loved one with.
Ingredients
- Flour - 300 g + 1 tbsp
- Butter - 20 gr
- Pressed yeast - 15 gr
- Milk - 200 ml
- Walnuts - 100 gr
- Salt - a pinch
- Sugar - 3 tbsp
- Dark chocolate - 50 g
- Almond flakes - a handful
- Powdered sugar - 2 tbsp
- Egg yolk - 1 pc
How to prepare the dough
1.Combine warm milk, yeast, 1 tbsp of flour, 1 tsp of sugar and mix thoroughly.
2. Cover with a lid or towel and leave in a warm place for 15 minutes.
3. The dough should at least double in size.
How to make the dough
1.Sift the flour, add sugar, salt, dough, melted butter, and nuts chopped with a knife and knead thoroughly by hand. The dough should be soft and not stick to your hands.
1. Cover the dough with a towel and leave it for 30 minutes.
2. Divide the dough into 6 equal parts. Cover again with a towel and leave for 15 minutes.
3. Roll each part into a long and thin sausage 60 cm long and 1-1.5 cm thick.
4. Form a heart. It is advisable to wrap the center 3 times and seam down.
5. Brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with almond flakes.
6 Put in a preheated oven to 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
7. Melt the chocolate in a water bath.
8. Take out the finished hearts, sprinkle with powdered sugar and pour over melted chocolate.
