Fluffy carrot cake for tea that is easier to make than any pies
Ripe and juicy carrots can be used to make a very fluffy and flavorful cake for tea. Just grate the vegetable and mix it with the egg mixture. There is no need to bake the cakes separately.
The idea of making a fluffy carrot cake was published on the Instagram page of a food blogger with the nickname valway_ka_. This pastry is perfect for family tea parties.
Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 150 g of sugar
- 100 g of grated carrots
- 100 ml of vegetable oil
- 160 g of flour
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- orange (or lemon) zest
- nuts - optional
Method of preparation:
1. Mix eggs with sugar.
2. Add oil and carrots.
3. Beat everything until light foam.
4. Add nuts, flour, baking powder, and zest.
5. Put the mixture into the baking dish.
6. Cook in the oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
