Fluffy and soft filled buns: recipe for a successful dough

Homemade scones are a flavorful pastry for tea. They can be made with different fillings: poppy seeds, cheese, cherries, strawberries, blueberries, apples, jam or cinnamon. However, the most important thing is to prepare a successful dough.

Foodblogger with the nickname Tally Koroleva tallykoroleva on her Instagram page shared a recipe for puffy and soft buns. They are prepared from a universal cottage cheese dough and are suitable for any filling.

Recipe for buns in the oven

Ingredients:

  • eggs - 1 pc
  • cottage cheese - 200 g
  • sugar - 100 g
  • fresh yeast - 500 g
  • milk - 200 ml
  • butter - 100 g
  • flour - 500 g
  • salt - pinch

Method of preparation:

1. To prepare the dough, mix the warm milk, sugar and yeast in a bowl. Stir and leave to make mother dough for a while.

2. Add the egg, cottage cheese, salt, melted butter to the cooked mother dough. Mix everything thoroughly until homogeneous.

3. Add flour to the obtained mixture and knead an elastic dough. Leave it in a warm place so that it doubles in volume.

4- Form the resulting dough into patties with your favorite filling.

5. Bake the buns at 180 degrees until they are browned. Done!
