Elementary pita bread rolls: cooked in the oven

For these rolls, you don't have to roll out the dough, because the base is pita bread. You just need to wrap the filling. To make the dish hearty and juicy, add sauce on the top. It is an ideal option for a snack or a full meal.

Ingredients:
- pita bread – 2 pcs.
- chicken fillet – 1 pc
- bell pepper – 1 pc
- corn – 140 g
- hard cheese – 100 g
- tomatoes or tomato paste – 200 ml
- cream or sour cream – 100 ml (optional)
- Italian herbs
- salt, pepper – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Boil the fillet and divide it into fibers.
2. In a bowl, combine the fillet, corn, bell pepper, cheese, spices, and add a little tomato cream sauce.
3. Prepare the sauce: combine tomatoes and cream, or sour cream (if you like it more tomato you can leave out the cream), Italian herbs, and mix.
4. Cut the pita bread in half and twist it into a roll, repeat this three more times.
5. Pour a little sauce on the bottom of the mold, put the pita bread rolls, pour the sauce on the top, and sprinkle with cheese.
6. Bake for 20-30 minutes at 180 degrees until golden brown.
