Elementary "Napoleon" without baking: made from cookies
This version of the Napoleon cake does not require kneading and rolling out the dough, because it is based on ordinary puff pastry. You can buy them in any store. And you will only need a stove to brew the cream because this dessert does not require baking.
The idea of making a Napoleon cake from cookies was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Tati Chudnova (chudnova.food).

- biscuits "Ears" – 500 g
- eggs – 2 pcs
- sugar – 130 g
- flour – 3 tbsp (60 g)
- milk – 500 ml
- butter – 100 g
Method of preparation:
1. Mix eggs, sugar, and flour in a heavy-bottomed saucepan until smooth. Pour in the milk and stir.
2. Over medium heat, stirring, bring to a thickening, and turn off the heat (do not let the cream boil).
3. Add the butter and stir until it dissolves. Cover the contact with foil and leave to cool.
4. Take a 14-16 cm. baking dish covered with parchment and put cookies and cream layer by layer. The cream should be the final layer. Cover with cling film and refrigerate overnight.
5. In the morning, put the remaining cookies in a bag and beat them with a rolling pin or knead them with your hands. Take the cake out of the mold and sprinkle it with crumbs.
