Elementary kefir cream cheese: you need only 4 ingredients
Cream cheese is an ideal base for making delicious and simple appetizers. You can simply spread it on toast, and you'll have a great light snack. In addition, this product can be made at home. All you need is regular kefir.
The idea of making homemade kefir cream cheese was published on the Instagram page of food blogger vistovska_cooking.
Ingredients:
- kefir 1 liter
- sour cream 350 g
- salt 1 tsp
- spices to taste (optional)
Method of preparation:
1. Mix all the ingredients and leave for 1 hour.
2. Put a colander in a saucepan.
3. Cover with cheesecloth (folded 4 times).
4. Pour our mixture.
5. Tie the cheesecloth and place a heavy jar on top.
6. Put in the refrigerator for 12 hours, and the delicious homemade cream cheese is ready.
