Elementary chicken and mushroom quiche for lunch: cooked in the oven
If you have chicken and mushrooms in the fridge, you can make a delicious lunch with these ingredients. You will get a hearty quiche on crispy shortbread dough. Pour the filling with eggs and cream - the cake will be fluffy and hold its shape.
Food blogger Yulia with the nickname jocheretyan shared her recipe for a hearty quiche with chicken and mushrooms for lunch on Instagram. This dish is enough for the whole family.
Ingredients for the dough:
- butter - 100 g
- flour - 250 g
- eggs - 1 pc
- salt - a pinch
- water - 3 tbsp.
Ingredients for the filling:
- chicken fillet - 300 g
- mushrooms - 200 g
- onion - 1 pc
- cream - 200 g
- eggs - 2 pcs
- hard cheese - 100 g
- salt, pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Sift the flour and grate the cold butter.
2. Combine with the egg, salt and water.
3. Form a layer of dough and leave it in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
4. Finely chop the onion and fry it. Do the same with chicken and mushrooms.
5. Roll out the dough, put it into the mold and form the sides.
6. Put the filling on top of the dough.
7. Combine the eggs and cream.
8. Pour over the quiche filling.
9. Carefully place grated hard cheese on top over the entire surface.
10. Bake at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.
11. Eat when completely cooled.
