Traditional potato pancakes are made from potato batter. The products should be golden and crispy. To make them hearty and juicy, you need to add one simple ingredient.
The idea of making juicy potato pancakes was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Maksym with the nickname nekuhar. When frying potato pancakes, add cottage cheese with herbs and it will turn out delicious.
Ingredients:
- 8 small potatoes
- 2 onions
- 2 eggs
- 1 spoonful of flour
- 100 grams of cottage cheese
- dill
- salt
- black pepper
- oil
Method of preparation:
1. Peel the potatoes and onions.
2. Grate on a fine grater.
3. Add eggs, flour, salt and pepper and mix.
4. Add chopped dill and salt to the cottage cheese and mash with a fork.
5. Add oil to the frying pan. When it is well-heated, add the grated potato mass one tablespoon at a time.
6. Put a teaspoon of curd mass on top of each future pancake, and another spoonful of potato mass on top.
7. When the bottom is fried, turn over and fry on the other side.
8. Eat hot with sour cream.
