Delicious stewed zucchini in cream: they turn out soft and juicy
Zucchini is used to make pancakes, cakes, and is also simply fried in batter. However, to keep the vegetable healthy, it is best to stew it. Cream is perfect for this.
The idea of cooking stewed zucchini in cream was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yulia Symonchuk (cook_julia_simonchuk). It's delicious with garlic.
Ingredients:
- zucchini - 2-3 pieces
- green onions - a bunch
- onions - 1 pc
- carrots - 1 pc
- garlic - 2-3 cloves
- cream - 150-200 ml
- water - 100 ml
- dill - a bunch
- oil - for frying
- salt, pepper, seasonings - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Cut zucchini into rings and fry in oil on both sides. Put on a plate.
2. Fry onions and carrots. Add chopped tomatoes and fried zucchini.
3. Add water and cream, stir and simmer for a few minutes.
4. At the end, add salt, pepper, seasonings, garlic and herbs and mix.
5. Simmer for another minute and remove from heat.
