Crispy baked potatoes with a crust: when to add spices correctly
Crispy and appetizing potatoes with a crust in the oven are not always possible. The result largely depends on when you add spices to the vegetables. This should be done immediately after you cut the raw potatoes.
The idea of cooking crispy baked potatoes with a crust was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Tatiana Yushina (_tanyushina_). The chef also shared a very spicy sauce, which is perfect for the baked vegetable.
Ingredients:
- 1 kg of potatoes
- 1 tsp of paprika
- 1 tsp. dried garlic
- salt - to taste
- 2-3 tbsp of vegetable oil
Ingredients for the sauce:
- 200 g of processed cheese (3 pieces)
- 2-3 tbsp of cream (sour cream can be used)
- 2 tbsp of mayonnaise
- a few sprigs of dill
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the potatoes well.
2. Cut into slices.
3. Add salt, spices, and oil.
4. Mix well.
5. Bake at 180-200 degrees until tender.
6. Finally, turn on the grill or convection.
7. For the sauce, blend all the ingredients in a blender until smooth.
8. Serve hot potatoes with sauce.
