Crispy and puffy apple waffles: how to prepare the batter
Apples are a great base for many desserts of varying complexity. This fruit can be used to make both a gourmet strudel and basic waffles. As for the second option, the dough is very basic. tender and airy because it is made with sour cream.
The idea of making crispy and juicy apple waffles was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yulia with the nickname zefirok_for_you.
Ingredients:
- flour - 200 g
- sour cream - 300 g
- eggs - 1 pc.
- sugar - 1-2 tbsp
- salt - a pinch
- vegetable oil - 1 tbsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- apples - 3-4 pcs.
Method of preparation:
1. Mix sour cream, sugar, egg and salt in a deep bowl. Then add oil and mix again.
2. Wash apples. Peel them, remove the center and grate them on a fine grater.
3. Add the apple puree to the sour cream mixture.
4. Add flour and make batter.
5. Bake the waffles in a preheated waffle iron for 6-8 minutes.
