Cottage cheese donuts: star chef reveals how to make them perfect
If you have a sweet tooth, then cottage cheese donuts are exactly what you need to satisfy your gastronomic preferences.
Food blogger Olha Riabenko shared her recipe for perfect, fluffy and crispy cottage cheese donuts on her Instagram page. She told us what to add to the dough to make the donuts just right.
Ingredients
- cottage cheese - 250 gr
- egg - 1 pc
- glour - 5-6 tbsp
- sugar - 5 tbsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- salt - ½ tsp
- vanilla sugar - 2 tsp
- powdered sugar
Method of preparation
1. Beat egg, sugar and vanilla sugar with a mixer until white.
2. Add cottage cheese and beat again.
3. Add baking soda, sifted flour and salt and knead the dough.
4. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1 cm.
5. Cut out circles and make a bagel shape.
6. Fry in oil until golden brown on both sides and place on a paper towel.
7. When the donuts have cooled slightly, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
