Cottage cheese casserole will turn out tender and lush: be sure to add this simple ingredient
The perfect cottage cheese casserole should be fluffy and tender. This dessert is perfect for family tea parties and is also very popular with children. To make the taste and appearance of the dish more pleasing, add one simple ingredient to the batter.
The idea of making a cottage cheese casserole was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Natalia with the nickname nata.cooking. Be sure to add cornstarch to the curd mass.
Ingredients:
- 540 g of cottage cheese 5%
- 2 eggs
- 150 g of sour cream
- 50 g sugar (you can add more if you like sweet casseroles)
- 10 g of vanilla sugar
- a pinch of salt
- 30 g of cornstarch (2 tbsp)
- cherries if desired
Method of preparation:
1. Add eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, sour cream, and starch to the cottage cheese. Important: all ingredients must be at room temperature.
2. Using a blender, beat everything well until smooth.
3. Pour the finished curd mass into a baking dish covered with parchment.
4. Smooth it out and put the cherries on top (this is not necessary, but it's quite tasty).
5. Bake at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes until golden brown. The casserole will rise in the oven, but then settle and become denser. The casserole is moderately sweet, so you can add more sugar to your taste or even honey, jams or condensed milk later.
