Rose-shaped cookies: what dough to use

These cookies will make a wonderful gift for your loved ones and a luxurious dessert on your holiday table. Besides, they are extremely easy to make. The main thing is to prepare a simple dough correctly.

The idea of making delicious rose-shaped cookies was published on Olha Holovina's Instagram page (olha.holovina).

Ingredients:

  • cottage cheese - 250 g
  • butter - 80 g
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • sugar
  • baking powder
  • flour
  • salt - a pinch
  • vanilla sugar - 1/2 sachet

Method of preparation:

1. Add eggs and sugar to cottage cheese and mix with a whisk or fork until smooth.

2. Add salt, vanilla sugar and mix again.

3. You can also beat eggs with sugar and salt first and then add cottage cheese.

4. Add butter at room temperature.

5. Mix flour with baking powder and sift into the cottage cheese mixture.

6. Knead the dough by hand.

7. Flour the work surface, put the dough on it and cut it into two parts.

8. Roll out not too thin dough.

9. Cut out circles.

10. Put one on top of the other so that the edge overlaps.

11. Roll and cut in half.

12. Spread out the "petals".

13. Put on a baking sheet covered with parchment.

14. Bake at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
