Chicken hearts with cream sauce: turn out very soft and juicy

Chicken hearts are not only a very budget-friendly product but also a delicious one. It just needs to be cooked properly. The texture is quite dense and tough. Therefore, stewing in cream is ideal for softening them. It is especially tasty with spices and herbs.
The idea of cooking chicken hearts in a cream sauce was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Polina with the nickname polli_cooking.
Ingredients:
- 500 g of chicken hearts
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 200 ml of 10% cream
- 1 tbsp of flour
- Provence herbs, pepper, salt
- dill
Method of preparation:
1. Fry onion in olive oil until golden brown and add finely chopped carrots.
2. Stir and cook until the carrots are half cooked.
3. Add peeled hearts, stir and cook for 10 minutes (they should lighten).
4. Add spices and salt to warm cream and season the hearts with it.
5. Stir and cook for 15 minutes over medium heat until the sauce thickens.
6. Sprinkle with dill and stir.
