Syrnyky with poppy seeds for a hearty and quick breakfast: recipe from Yevhen Klopotenko
Breakfast is the most essential meal, which determines the energy supply for several hours. Therefore, experts recommend eating hearty foods such as cereals, cottage cheese, vegetables, and eggs.
Culinary expert Yevhen Klopotenko shared a recipe for very tasty and quick to prepare poppy seed syrnyky for a hearty breakfast on his YouTube channel (to watch the video, scroll to the end).
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese - 300 g
- egg - 1 pc.
- poppy seeds - 1-2 tsp
- flour - 60 g
- sugar - 50 g
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp.
- vanilla sugar - 10 g
- sunflower oil (for frying) - 1-2 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Mix cottage cheese with egg and poppy seeds in a bowl. Add sugar and vanilla sugar.
2. Add flour and baking powder. Mix to make a homogeneous mass.
3. Pour some flour on a kitchen board, put the dough out and form small round balls with your hands. Flatten them and roll them in flour.
4. Heat a frying pan with oil and fry until golden brown.
