Cabbage casserole: how to cook a budget dinner

For a casserole to be tasty and satisfying, it doesn't have to be made from meat. In summer, vegetables are perfect for this dish. Namely, young cabbage.

The idea of cooking a casserole with young cabbage was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yana (kolesnyk_yana ).

Ingredients:

  • cabbage – 500 g
  • carrots – 150 g
  • green onions – 50 g
  • hard cheese – 100 g
  • milk – 100 ml
  • eggs – 2 pcs
  • dill – 10 g
  • vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
  • salt – to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Chop the young cabbage, and put it in a deep bowl.

2. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

3. Chop the onion, and add the dill to the cabbage and carrots.

4. Grate the hard cheese on a coarse grater and add to the vegetables.

5. Mix everything thoroughly with a spoon.

6. In a separate bowl, mix milk, eggs and salt with a whisk.

7. Grease a baking dish with oil and put the vegetable mixture in it.

8. Pour the egg-milk mixture on top and put in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
