Budget mushroom gravy: for potatoes, pasta and any porridge
Instead of meat gravy for potatoes, porridge or pasta, you can make mushroom gravy. It will be much faster and more budget-friendly. Any side dish with this addition will be hearty.
The idea of preparing a budget mushroom gravy was published on the Instagram page of a food blogger with the nickname zhuravlina_cooking. You can cook it in 20 minutes maximum.
Ingredients:
- mushrooms - 450 g
- onion - 2 pcs.
- cream - 200 ml (10%)
- salt - 1/2 tsp (to taste)
- herbs - 1 tsp.
- dry garlic - 1/2 tsp.
- grain mustard - 1 tsp.
- a piece of butter for frying
Method of preparation:
1. Add a piece of butter and chopped onion to a preheated frying pan. Stir to combine.
2. Slice mushrooms.
3. Add to the onion.
4. Add salt, black pepper, dry garlic, herbs and mustard.
5. Pour cream over everything, stir and fry over low heat for about 15-20 minutes until the liquid evaporates.
