Better than any store-bought spreads: how to make healthy guacamole
Guacamole is a very nutritious and satisfying avocado appetizer. It can be prepared instead of various mayonnaise and cream spreads and will be much healthier. It is delicious simply spread on crusty bread.
The idea of making healthy avocado guacamole was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Vira Hrynyshyna (vira_grynyshyna). None of the ingredients require heat treatment.
Ingredients:
- ripe avocados - 2 pcs.
- small onions - 1 pc.
- garlic - 1 clove of chopped garlic (can be dry)
- chopped tomato - 1 pc.
- lime or lemon - 1 pc (juice)
- salt, spices - to taste
- fresh chopped cilantro
- olive oil - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the avocado in half.
2. Remove the pit and flesh.
3. Mash or mash the avocado with a fork until it becomes a paste.
4. Add chopped onion, tomato, garlic, lime juice, cilantro, salt.
5. Whisk everything together again.
6. Add olive oil to taste.
7. Serve on crispy toast.
