Baked potatoes with lard: how to prepare and serve the dish in an interesting way

Baked potatoes in the oven are one of the most delicious and simple dishes. It is traditionally baked with meat, cheese, mushrooms or lard and served with a delicious sauce.
Popular Ukrainian chef Mykola (mykola_lyulko) shared a recipe for baked potatoes with lard on his Instagram page, which he suggests serving on skewers.
Ingredients:
- potatoes
- lard
Marinade for 1 kg of potatoes:
- salt - 2 tsp.
- black pepper - 0.5 tsp.
- smoked paprika - 1 tsp.
- ground coriander - 2 tsp.
- ground garlic - 1 tsp.
- sunflower oil - 5 tbsp.
Sauce:
- green onions - 100 g
- garlic - 2 pcs
- yogurt - 200 g
- ground black pepper - 0.5 tsp.
- salt - 0.5 tsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Cut potatoes into slices 1-1.5 centimeters thick. Cut lard into slices 3-5 millimeters thick.
2. Mix the potatoes with all the ingredients for the marinade. Marinate for a while.
3. Next, skewer the potato slices, alternating with lard ones. Put them on a baking sheet.
4. Bake at 200 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
5. Prepare and mix all the ingredients for the sauce. Serve with the finished potatoes.
