A hearty and juicy meat roll: made from pita bread
To make a hearty and nutritious snack, you need to combine vegetables, meat, and greens in the dish. Also, protein. All this can be done with pita bread.
The idea of making a hearty pita bread roll was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Inna Kalancha (inna_kalancha). The top of the roll is greased with egg, so it turns out crispy.
Ingredients:
- minced meat
- 1 egg
- 2-3 green onions
- 1 small red pepper
- salt, pepper
- hard cheese
- 2 large pita bread
- 1 egg yolk
- sesame seeds
Method of preparation:
1. Add the green onion, pepper, egg and spices to the minced meat and mix well.
2. Grate the cheese.
3. Form our roll: put the cheese on the first pita bread.
4. Cover with the second sheet of pita bread, put the minced meat. Roll it into a roll.
5. Brush the roll with egg yolk, sprinkle with the remaining cheese and sesame seeds.
6. Put it in the oven at 170 degrees for 20-30 minutes (to brown it nicely).
