"Wake up, planet!" Participant of the National Selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 touched by playing the violin on the Donbas waste heaps

Moisei Bondarenko, a participant of the National Selection for Eurovision 2023, who has been serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, touched the Internet with a new video. In the video, the 24-year-old violinist plays the song "Everybody knows".

The hit track performed by the serviceman resounded in a new way. In particular, because of the picture: Bondarenko playing the violin in the middle of snow-covered Donbas terricones. The musician posted the video on his Instagram page.

Not only Ukrainians but also foreigners shared their emotions in the comments:

As a reminder, Moisei Bondarenko participated in the National Selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. There, he performed his original composition "I'm Not Alone". However, the chance to represent Ukraine in the international arena was given to the band TVORCHI with the song "Heart of Steel".
