Ukrainian lingerie brand reacted to a new scandal with Irina Shayk: earlier, the Russian model published a photo with letter Z
Ukrainian lingerie brand Zhilyova Lingerie has responded to the scandal with Russian model Irina Shayk. Recently, the Russian model took part in a photo shoot for Vogue magazine with fashion legends, wearing a Ukrainian-made bra. The situation caused dissatisfaction and outrage among Ukrainians as Shayk did not condemn Russia, only once calling for help for Ukraine at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
Earlier, the model posted a photo with the letter Z on social media, which she later deleted due to hate speech. The Zhilyova Lingerie brand made an official comment under one of its Instagram posts.
It says that all shootings are held in secret, so the Vogue team does not give information about the model who will pose in the brand's clothes. "We found out about the fact that our brand was used in the shoot today, with the release of the issue," Zhilyova Lingerie said. The brand contacted the publication to prevent similar situations in the future.
