The fortune teller guessed right: Nataliia Sumska tells about a significant prophecy her mother heard

Ukrainian theater and film actress Nataliia Sumska told how a fortune teller predicted her mother Anna's first child, a daughter. According to the star, it was just a simple guess and did not represent anything otherworldly.

Nataliia Sumska was the first child in the family, and the actress Olha Sumska was her younger sister. She explained in an interview with 1+1 that her mother was already pregnant at the time of the landmark prediction. An interesting point was the "guessing" of the day of the week on which the child was born – on Sunday.

"As it happens with many people, you meet a Gypsy woman and, like it or not, you have to listen to her chatter. My mother was just about to give birth. The fortune teller guessed that it would be a girl and that she would be born on Sunday, and it happened. It was in the Kyiv region, in my mother's village," the actress recounted.

Sumska herself said that she does not believe in predictions and superstitions, although she sometimes plays the role of a fortune teller.

"After all, not everyone wants to know their life path in advance. In the movie "Black Raven," based on the novel by Vasyl Shkliar, I played Yavdokha, a fortune teller, healer, and assistant to the rebels. In memory of this work, I have a "Golden Dzyga" award. Do I believe in all kinds of signs and superstitions? To tell you the truth, I don't have time for that, and in the hour of a terrible war, events are ahead of any omens," the star said.
