Singing Ukrainian folk song: the star of Star Wars spin-off Ahsoka caught on Ukrzaliznytsia train

Actress Ivanna Sakhno caught in a train singing Ukrainian folk song

Ukrainian-born Hollywood actress Ivanna Sakhno, who recently starred in Ahsoka TV series, a spin-off for Star Wars, was caught singing Ukrainian folk song "Hey, Sokoly!" (Hey, Falcons) on the Ukrzaliznytsia train before departure. At that time, the star was probably heading to Warsaw because the Polish-language version was performed by a male choir. The tradition of playing theme songs before the departure of some trains is inherent in the railroad company.

In the video posted by Ukrzaliznytsia on its Instagram page, a woman in the corridor of a compartment car dances to the song and moves her lips in accordance with the words in it. The star was in a great mood.

When the train started to move, the actress happily said goodbye to those who were seeing her off, waving and even trying to pull her out through the window.

"And may the Ukrzaliznytsia Force be with you. Ukrainian Ivanka Sakhno, who recently starred in Ahsoka, is singing "Hey, Falcons" on the train before departure," Ukrzaliznytsia captioned the video.

Ivanna Sakhno was likely traveling home to Los Angeles, USA, from Kyiv railway station by this train. Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, the actress has repeatedly condemned the armed aggression. In May 2023, she became an ambassador for the United24 charity project.
