Rapper and music producer Oleksii Potapenko, better known by his stage name Potap, who fled to Spain at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, has decided to return to the stage. The 43-year-old singer announced his first tour in a long time, but it will take place not in Ukraine, but in the United States of America.

The fugitive artist announced this on his Instagram page. In addition, he said that during the concert program, he would present a new project, Slavic Balagan, to the audience.

"Hello, USA! How are you? This is your guy Potap! We are coming to you with a tour of the most popular hits! The best songs from "Potap and Nastia," "Vremya i Steklo," "Mozgi," and something radically new from the Slavic Balagan project. Don't miss it. It will be fun," the rapper said.

Potap is going to entertain the audience from March 8 to 15 this year. The bands' tracks will be performed on stages in Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, and Miami.

Music journalist and producer Vitalii Bardetskyi recently said that he believes that Potap has no future in Ukraine. According to him, the artist is "outside the Ukrainian context," so he will not be able to regain his former popularity.

"He just doesn't understand what's going on here anymore. Of course, he will always have some kind of audience, probably a small and marginal one. But it will not return to the level it was at. Pop music is different in that you, as an author, can very clearly feel what people need, and Potap is already out of context," the music journalist explained.
