James Kottak has died
On January 9, the drummer of the cult German rock band Scorpions, James Kottak, died. He performed with the band for 20 years, from 1996 to 2016, and made a significant contribution to the development of world rock music.

The tragic news was confirmed by the musician's daughter Toby. She said that her father passed away on Tuesday morning, January 9, in Louisville, Kentucky, USA.
Kottak began his musical career as a member of the band Kingdom Come. In 1996, he joined Scorpions. Over the 20 years of his collaboration with the legendary band, he has been involved in the creation of six of their albums.
In 2016, the drummer had to leave the band. It is known that this was due to his alcohol addiction and the difficulties that arose from it.
The musician was also the guitarist and vocalist of his own rock band called Kottak.
