Loreen cancels concert at the pro-Putin Russian oligarch's festival in Azerbaijan: all details

Two-time Eurovision winner in 2012 and 2023, Swedish singer Loreen has canceled her performance at Dream Music Fest 2024. The festival, which will take place in Azerbaijan this summer, was organized by pro-Putin oligarch Emin Agalarov.

The singer shared her decision on her Discord page. It is reported by Aftonbladet.

Loreen refused to participate even before all the artists of Dream Music Fest 2024 were announced. As previously reported, 250 participants from different countries were to perform at the festival.

In a statement, the singer said that she and her agent in the UK had received new information about the event that was not previously known to her. "Because of this, I have decided to cancel my performance there before the announcement," Loreen wrote. The star refused to comment on the matter.
