Leader of pro-war band Russkiy Styag Evgeny Dolganov in serious condition after assassination attempt in Russia

The leader of the pro-Kremlin band Russkiy Styag (Russian Banner), Evgeny Dolganov, was attacked in Russia. The pro-war singer, who openly supports the bloody policies of Russian President Vladimir Putin since the start of the full-scale invasion and helps the occupiers all the time, is in a hospital in serious condition.

The information appeared in the Russian media. Details of the assassination attempt on the propagandist remain unknown.

According to Vladimir Laktyushin, Deputy of the Udelnaya Urban Settlement of the Ramensky Municipal District in Moscow Region, Evgeny Dolganov is a sincere "patriot of his country." Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the leader of the Russian band has visited the front multiple times to "help the Russian military" and organize concerts for Russian soldiers and civilians in the occupied territories of Ukraine. Laktyushin added that it is likely because of these facts that the performer was attacked.

Dolganov founded the band Russkiy Styag back in the 2000s. The band quickly gained popularity among the far right, and at least 15 of their songs were included in the list of extremist materials.

After the start of the full-scale invasion, Dolganov visited the occupied Donbas. The Putin fan also collaborated with the Russian armed group Española, which is involved in the war against Ukraine as well. Several other members of Russkiy Styag are currently serving in the Russian army as part of the Rusich group.
