During renovations at the Ivan Franko Drama Theater in Kyiv, workers came across a unique find. Under the upholstery of the seats, two tickets to a performance from the Soviet era were preserved.

Ukrainian actor and artistic director of the theater Yevhen Nyshchuk posted a photo of the rarity on his Facebook page. The rare piece will become an exhibit in the museum of the cultural institution.

"We are not just repairing, but also decommunizing the Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theater. Look what a rarity we found in the old upholstery in the auditorium. It will go to our museum," Yevhen Nyshchuk wrote in the post.

Since the ticket does not contain any information about the performance, it is difficult to establish the exact date and name of the performance. However, at the time the paper card was issued, the institution was called the Ivan Franko Academic Drama Theater of Kyiv.

At that time, the ticket price was 1 karbovanets and 60 kopecks, and all the inscriptions were in Russian.
