Vinegar
Alcoholic vinegar will quickly remove lime scale. To make a limescale remedy for a kettle, simply pour half a liter of water and a glass of vinegar inside. Boil everything and leave it for a while so that the remedy starts to work and dissolve the scale. After that, you need to rinse the kettle and leave it for a while, as the unpleasant odor from the vinegar should disappear.
Citric acid
If you don't like the irritating smell of vinegar, you can use another proven remedy that will quickly remove lime scale - citric acid. To do this, just pour the contents of the bag into the kettle, fill it with water and boil it. Before using the kettle after descaling, you should rinse it well.
Baking soda
Another surefire way to get rid of plaque is to mix four tablespoons of baking soda and 1.5 liters of water, pour it into the kettle and leave it for an hour. Unfortunately, sometimes after such a treatment, the kettle may not smell very pleasant. But there is a simple way to cope with this inconvenience. Just boil the water in the kettle a few times and the odor will disappear.
