According to the Express, cleaning enthusiasts have shared a life hack on social media on how to do this with a single product. This product is a dishwasher tablet, which should be placed in the powder compartment and run an empty washing machine on a hot water cycle.

Commentators who tried this life hack shared that immediately after starting the machine, the water in the machine became dirty, and after the cycle was completed, even the sealing rubber near the door, which usually collects a lot of dirt, was cleaned. Another advantage of this cleaning method is the fresh smell from the drum.

Lifehackers also shared additional tips for cleaning the washing machine. They recommended using dishwasher powder as well - the result will be the same as with the product in tablet form. You can also dissolve a tablet or two in water beforehand and put them in the washing machine. The device should be rinsed at a temperature of 90 degrees and even higher, if possible.
