Angelina Jolie gave the reason why her children will never become actors
Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has admitted that she does not expect her children's careers to be related to acting. The star shares 23-year-old Maddox, 20-year-old Pax, 19-year-old Zahara, 18-year-old Shiloh, and 16-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox with her ex-husband Brad Pitt.
"No, I think they're particularly shy, very private people," Jolie told E! News at the premiere of her new movie Maria in Los Angeles on October 27. "They want to keep their privacy." Nevertheless, the Oscar-winning actress's children are still interested in filmmaking. Maddox and Pax have been working on a biopic about opera singer Maria Callas, starring their mother.
The actress's older sons helped her in the filming of Maria.
"Honey and Pax worked on this movie as assistant directors," the celebrity told The Hollywood Reporter in August. "They've done it a few times before, and I think it's good for them. She added that Pax specializes in freeze-frames, so the film's director, Pablo Larraín, invited him to collaborate.
Jolie has doubts that any of her children will choose a career in acting.
The presence of loved ones on set for such an emotionally challenging role ultimately helped Angelina during filming. "I've never had a set where my family wasn't allowed to be present," the star explained. When I was having a hard time, they would come and just hug me or treat me to a cup of tea."
