TikTok presented the most popular videos of 2023

December is a month for summarizing results. And TikTok, a service for creating and watching short videos, has revealed the most popular videos of 2023. The top spot was claimed by a video that amassed more than 111 million views and over 13 million likes.

This information was reported on the service's website. The creator of this year's most viral video is a shepherd from Scotland named Sean, who has over 4 million followers on TikTok. He showcases his work against picturesque landscapes, featuring his dogs Kate, Stormy, Echo, and Monty.

In the viral video, which has received 12.3 million likes, a Border Collie shepherd dog named Kate skillfully guides a flock of sheep home from the pasture. Internet users were enchanted by the animal's well-coordinated and precise work, showering her with numerous likes and enthusiastic comments.

The second place was secured by a video from a user with the username @kirbyquimado. The video, where he prepares an unconventional appetizer with bread and sausages, garnered even more views - 142 million. However, the creative chef received fewer likes, totaling 7.5 million.

Capybaras inundated TikTok in 2023. Thousands of videos featuring these amusing animals went viral, but the most popular was a video by Singaporean actor and musician Jazz Fua. It has over 30 million views and 3.3 million likes.
