Russian Federation shells power facilities in frontline regions of Ukraine - 22 settlements without electricity

In Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, the fixing and elimination of the consequences of the flooding caused by the occupants of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant continues. For example, more than 15,000 consumers in Kherson remain de-energized.
In the de-occupied part of Kherson, eight settlements remain without power due to flooding. In the Nikolayev region 13 settlements remain de-energized, reports the Ministry of Energy on June 12.
"Power engineers are ready to begin restoration work as soon as the water begins to recede. In particular, the flooded pumping station of Kherson TPP will be examined. Preliminarily, it will be possible to make a full assessment of the damage in two weeks after the water has receded. Because of the critical level of water fall in the Kakhovka reservoir after the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP specialists "Ukrhydroenerho" no longer perform measurements of water, from now on the measurements will be carried out only by experts "Ukrhydrometocenter", - said in the message.
As noted, the Russian occupants have stepped up their shelling of energy infrastructure in the frontline and border areas. In Zaporizhia region, a missile and bomb attack destroyed the administrative building of one of the energy facilities and damaged vehicles.
Due to intensive shelling, including drone strikes, power lines were damaged in Sumy, Kharkiv, Odessa, and Donetsk regions. Due to bad weather, blackouts were recorded in Lviv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk and Chernihiv regions. At the same time, most consumers have been healed.
As previously reported OBOZREVATEL, in Ukraine until the end of 2023 is not expected to increase electricity tariffs for the population. That is, the price will remain at the June level - 2.64 UAH/kWh for any consumption.
