"I tried to fight this midget": Fury makes new attack on Usyk
British heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) has complained that no one seems to want to fight him, which is why his return to the ring this summer is in doubt. The Gypsy King, as the Manchester native is known, is ready to fight "anyone, anywhere".
Fury posted the relevant video on his Instagram page. He mentioned that he had allegedly offered a fight to Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs), his compatriot Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs), and Mexican Andy Ruiz (35-2, 22 KOs).
"I haven't fought since December through no fault of my own. I tried to fight that little midget Usyk, but he doesn't want anything. I tried to fight Joshua, he doesn't want a light. I tried to fight everybody. Andy Ruiz asked for $20 million, the stupid little bastard. I don't know where he got that from. Hey! Who's there? Who's free? I want to fight anyone, anytime, anywhere. I can't wait to fight Usyk, Joshua. Whoever is there, I'm going to f**k you up!" Fury said menacingly.
Earlier, Tyson called Usyk a "freak" and a "cowardly, ugly bum", challenging him to another fight for the world heavyweight championship. In addition, he accused the Ukrainian of greed, which led to the disruption of the fight on April 29.
Recall that Saudi Arabia intends to organise the Usyk-Fury and Joshua-Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) fights in December on the same night. The media published the boxers' fees for the grand show. The total amount will be at least $250 million. At the same time, Anthony has already confirmed his fight against Deontay.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, at a press conference in Tenerife, Tyson Fury recently made a rude remark about Oleksandr Usyk. The Ukrainian boxer himself spoke unequivocally about the fight against the Gypsy King.
