"The police received a signal that on the night of July 20 a man was hospitalized by ambulance from a chess club on Tchaikovsky. He had multiple injuries to the head and torso, including stab wounds. There was a partial amputation of the right auricle," RIA Novosti quoted a law enforcement source as saying.
The victim was unable to explain the circumstances under which he received his injuries. The assailant has been detained. The police are working with him.
