"If we don't find a solution..." Usyk's promoter tells what's happening with the Ukrainian's next fight

Krasiuk spoke about the Usyk-Dubois fight

The unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) is obliged to sign a contract for a fight against Daniel Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs) by May 3. If the Ukrainian and the Briton fail to reach an agreement by this deadline, the World Boxing Association (WBA) will hold a bidding process to organise the show.

Usyk's promoter Oleksandr Krasiuk told BT Sport Boxing in an interview with the YouTube channel. He noted that the Ukrainian's team would like to hold the fight in Poland, where the boxer will be able to count on massive support from compatriots and local martial arts fans.

"If we don't find a solution and the contract is not signed, we will have a tender. And the winner of the auction will be the one who organises the event. Everything is very simple. That's why we have a deadline of 3 May. If we don't receive the signed papers by this time, the bidding will be announced. According to the rules, you have to offer three possible dates and three possible venues for the fight. If I were to place my bet today, I would mention the Middle East, Poland and Britain. We will work with our partners in Poland. We will try to work out the possibility of holding the fight there," said Krasiuk.

Earlier, Oleksandr Usyk's manager Egis Klimas told us when the Ukrainian boxer will fight next. In addition, it became known who the British champion Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) will fight instead of the Ukrainian.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, Anthony Joshua's (25-3, 22 KOs) promoter Eddie Hearn spoke about what is really happening around the Usyk-Fury fight.
