The leader of the European Solidarity Party, Petro Poroshenko, said that Ukrainians want peace more than anyone else in the world and pin their hopes for ending the war on President Trump. At the same time, the fifth president noted that Ukraine cannot accept compromises on its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and membership in the EU and NATO.

Poroshenko said this on CNN. He named 5 uncompromising points of the peace agreement.

"The situation at the front is very difficult. Every week, I and our team are at the front line with our troops, making every effort to support Ukraine. We certainly have very high hopes for President Trump," Poroshenko emphasized.

"There are no people in the world who want peace more than we, Ukrainians, do. We hope that, first of all, the United States will not stop military assistance, because it is a matter of Ukraine's survival. We are fighting here not only for our land. Our soldiers are giving their lives for freedom and democracy in the world, in particular, defending the United States," Petro Poroshenko said.

"We have five uncompromising points. There can be no compromise on Ukrainian sovereignty and national identity, we will never be a colony of Russia again. Number two is territorial integrity. We will never accept the Russian occupation of our territory. Number three is sanctions against Putin. Putin's ability to finance the war must be cut off. There can be no compromise on financial and military aid. And no compromise on membership in NATO and the European Union. This is extremely important for us," Poroshenko said.
