On July 31, the head of the Croatian Foreign Ministry Gordan Grlić Radman arrived in Ukraine on a working visit. He visited Hostomel, where in the spring of 2022 there were fierce battles.
The head of Croatian diplomacy brought with him 50 generators for schools and hospitals in Ukraine; in particular, Croatia will join in ensuring the continuity of the kindergarten "Veselka" in Hostomel. This was announced by Gordan Grlić Radman himself.
"I started my visit to Ukraine from Gostomel. In partnership with the Croatian office of UNICEF, the Croatian government has purchased 50 generators for schools and hospitals across the country, including the kindergarten "Rainbow"," he wrote.
The head of the Croatian Foreign Ministry also added that his state provided assistance to the kindergarten "Veselka" in Hostomel.
"It is extremely important to ensure the smooth operation of key facilities and establishments to provide children with basic needs and services. Therefore, together with Caritas (International Charitable Foundation. - Ed.) we also donated equipment for the kindergarten," the Croatian foreign Minister wrote, accompanying the message with the hashtag # StandWithUkraine.
He also published photos from Hostomel. In one of the photos, the Croatian foreign minister writes "Glory to Ukraine" in Ukrainian on a school blackboard.
