President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has praised American leader Donald Trump, saying he is doing a great job and is an incredible man. According to him, the head of the White House is trying his best to stop the war in Ukraine.

The Belarusian dictator expressed this opinion in an interview with American blogger Mario Nawfal, local media reported. At the same time, the self-proclaimed president also mentioned the peacekeepers who are to be deployed in Ukraine. According to him, Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin is against such actions.

"The American administration is doing a great job. And Trump is doing a great job. He often speaks and does something to end the war in Ukraine, to end the war in the Middle East. This is worth a lot in foreign policy. I think he has no other policy than to stop the war. It is a brilliant idea. This is where I am ready to back them and do whatever is necessary to end the war and improve people's lives," Lukashenko said.

He noted that he had previously publicly supported Donald Trump, although he did not believe in his victory.

"After everything that happened in the United States, I still supported Trump publicly. I didn't think he was going to win. And when he won, I compared him to a bulldozer who plowed through the United States of America and won," the Belarusian dictator said.

At the same time, he emphasized that sending foreign troops to Ukraine is unacceptable for the aggressor country Russia and its leader Putin. He said that Russia would never agree to this. Lukashenko also spoke about European leaders, saying that some of them are very aggressive.

"Regarding the last question you asked at the end about France and Germany sending peacekeeping forces. Russia will never agree to this. At least this is Russia's position today. Furthermore, the leaders of the European Union, primarily represented by Germany and France, are currently taking a very aggressive stance," Lukashenko summarized.

As a reminder, Lukashenko invited Trump, Zelenskyy, and Putin to his country for future negotiations on ending the war in Ukraine. He said that he was waiting for them in Minsk, with whom he wanted to "sit down and calmly negotiate."

The head of Belarus also ordered domestic experts to search for rare earth metals in the country. According to him, they should explore the natural resources more actively.
