On Monday, February 24, in Brussels (Belgium), a meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council began with a minute of silence and the sound of an air raid alarm. These actions were timed to coincide with the third anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the aggressor country Russia.
This was reported by Radio Liberty. In particular, some European politicians arrived at the meeting wearing blue and yellow colors.
"In Brussels, the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers began with a minute of silence and the sound of an air raid alarm... In addition, the EU High Representative for Security Policy and Cooperation, Kaja Kallas, and representatives of the Baltic States and Scandinavia arrived in the colors of Ukraine," the statement said.
It is known that one of the topics will be the discussion of the next military aid package for Ukraine. The meeting was also joined online by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.
To recap, according to Kaja Kallas, the EU should beware of Russia's provocations and hybrid actions in space. To respond to such threats and protect itself in space, Europe is creating the concept of a new "European Space Shield."
As reported by OBOZ.UA, in late January it became known that the EU and the US allegedly agreed to exert "maximum pressure" on the aggressor country Russia. In addition, Brussels and Washington decided to cooperate to achieve lasting peace in Ukraine.
