Budanov applied for postgraduate studies: where and whom the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence is going to study
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, has applied for admission to the postgraduate program at the Ostrog Academy. He is the first in the rating list of applicants 2023-2024 for the specialty "Political Science", the form of study - evening.
Rector of the University Hero of Ukraine Igor Pasichnyk told "Suspilne" that at the moment it is not enrollment in the postgraduate program, but for now the rating of those admitted to it. There is no enrollment order yet.
"Due to the fact that the academy graduated from the Commander-in-Chief (Valeriy Zaluzhny. - Ed.), nine combat generals and the commander of the 30th Army, the academy has become popular. There is quite a powerful young academic teaching staff and it is absolutely no surprise that the academy enrolls the most famous personalities in Ukraine in master's or postgraduate programs," the rector explained.
Pasechnik added that "Ostrog Academy", which is located in the city of Ostrog in Rivne region, is among the top three universities, and "not only in Ukraine".
"If the Ukrainian Catholic University is a private university, then the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and the Ostrog Academy remain. It is quite natural that people come to us to enroll. Especially since we have such a specialty as National Security and Political Science, which are just related to issues related to military affairs," the rector said.
It is known that in 2007 Budanov graduated from the airmobile faculty of the Odessa Institute of Ground Forces. A year before graduation he decided to go into intelligence. Having received his diploma, Budanov immediately became an operative of the special forces of the Main Directorate of Intelligence.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, earlier Budanov said that the counter-offensive of the AFU slows down the continuous mining of territories and a large number of kamikaze drones at the enemy. Despite all this, the advance of the Ukrainian forces continues, emphasized the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence.
