Wives of Zelenskyy and Zaluzhnyi chose similar looks for New Year's photos

It is customary to share New Year's Eve with those closest to you: this is an unspoken rule even for high-ranking officials. On the occasion of the holiday, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi shared photos with their wives, who chose similar outfits for the 2024 meeting.

The President posted a photo with First Lady Olena Zelenska on his Instagram page. It shows the couple in the middle of the president's office, with a Christmas tree flickering behind them.

Zaluzhnyi, in turn, shared a picture with his beloved, Olena Zaluzhna. The selfie also shows the husband and wife next to the main attribute of the holiday.

Although the atmosphere of the postcards is completely different, there are many interesting coincidences. In particular, Olena Zelenska wore a white embroidered shirt, while Volodymyr Zelenskyy traditionally wore a khaki one. General Zaluzhnyi, for his part, chose a similar sweatshirt to celebrate the New Year, but darker in color. And his wife Olena, like Zelenska, chose a white blouse.
